ASHRA – The Israel Foreign Trade Risks Insurance Corporation Ltd. is a company fully owned by the Israeli government. ASHRA encourages Israeli exports by insuring medium and long term export credit transactions (one to ten years) and investments abroad.

The Company changed its name from "The Israel Foreign Trade Risks Insurance Company (IFTRIC)" to "ASHRA – The Israel Export Insurance Corporation Ltd." in September 2005.
